Nice under-stated ending to the song - hope she has a great career in the blues.

Pity the excellent guitar playing is let down by the average singing :( Oh well you gotta start somewhere I suppose

Five stars for sure! It reminded me the rock-blues way Foghat played this tune. Her guitar sounds a bit like Rod Price's ('The Magician Of Slide', and 'Slide King Of Rock And Roll') slide did! I am highly impressed!

"It Hurts Me Too" goes all the way back to the 40's. Also known as "When Things Go Wrong" it was recorded by Tampa Red before the 1957 Elmore James version (which I have on an original VJ 45), and there's an instrumental titled "Things 'bout Coming My Way" from 1930. I learned about Ms. Lyytinen from the "Blues Guitar Women" CD set that my daughter (who plays electric bass) gave me. She is certainly a treat for the eyes and the ears!
