I remember going to bed on Sunday night (AUS time) and looking forward to watching the end of the final round early before school on Monday morning. I thought it was all a foregone conclusion with Greg's lead now!
I overslept, but still woke up early. Just in time to turn on the television and see FALDO in the lead at 16...and Norman's tee shot sailing straight into the lake :- [

@raff23 Greg was a very exciting player to watch and i always wanted him to win but choked under pressure too many times in Majors. Faldo definitely had the upper hand and pyschological advantage over Norman.

I was leading my club championship by 7 shots and wanted it SO BAD, i couldnt play me normal game i was so tight and yep choking, its amazing, unless youve been in that position its hard to explain it must have been 10 times harder for Greg, such a mind game, the key is being calm and relaxed when the pressure is full on, not easy to do!!

@shinobi74 norman should have won at least the same amount of majors as faldo no doubt about that, this epic choke must torture greg even to this day, the best player ever to only win 2 majors.
