  • hey doug, would you think the 25'' size of the terrracross r/t's would fit a 2009 wolverine 450 (same frame as 2003 kodiac 450) or would they be too heavy? I am also looking at 24'' maxxis bighorns please respond, thanks in advance.

  • @Mrgmail15 I think they would fit and work very well. May be the very best choice.

  • @atvtvcom Im convinced and decided I will get a set of these for my Outlander Max. I invite you to come north to Parry Sound Ontario Canada next month to cover the Can-Am Jamboree. I really like your videos!

  • @153eddy We'd love to but that's a might far in these economic times.

  • what benefit do you get from running narrower front tires with 14 inch wheels?

  • @accord21 Easier steering and less grab and kickback through the bars.

  • @98Mpower Smart move on the rope! Keep us all informed as to what you think after messing around with the pressures!

  • @ATVTVCOM Ya this Sunday wil be the dial in day. It felt a little twichy at higher trail speeds most likely because the pressure. I'll let you know how it goes. I also have to install my new synthetic winch rope and flare head. My old winch cable had cuts in it so i dont want to take chances of it snapping.

  • @98Mpower Great to hear. Now the next step is to dial in the pressure! Start with you 5 psi and first go to 4 1/2 on the rears. Then 4. Then 4 1/2 on the fronts and 4 in the rears. Somewhere in there you'll find the sweet spot. I think it was 5 and 4 for me but I forget ;-)

  • @ATVTVCOM Ok I had just put some good riding time in on them(4hrs) and the verdict is GOOD. Much better traction and handling then stock rubber. One thing is when I received the tire/wheel package they had 12lbs of pressure in each tire. I assume this is for seeting the bead and not the operating range psi. I lowered them the 5 psi per tire and the ride was greatly improved. Steering effort is effortless especially with eps. Overall a great investment to your atv.
