One thing to note: Youtube makes the game appear darker than it really is

Second thing to note: Doh... I didn't have shader model 3.0 turned on in the graphic settings for most of this video.... That is why the ground looks bare but with it turned on its filled with grasses and flowers. I'll make another scenery vid with those options turned on.

My first AoC video. I just started playing about a month ago and was inspired by the amazing graphics and music. The vid was made with over 2 weeks of clip gathering and editing but I think it was worth it. I am also planning on making another vid soon. It will be a combat/story vid that follows along with the song. So if u like this vid please subscribe.

My review on AoC:
I feel as if I should say something good about the game because I'm definitely having a great time. The only other time I've been so much into a game was when I first played a major MMO and that was WoW.
My only character so far is my guardian Neolidion on Set.
Lvl 43 by the time I finished this video.
So far from what I've seen AoC is one of my favorite games of all time. Best MMO graphics and music. Compared to WoW and WAR the combat is better as well, at least as a melee character.

Quests are fun and I've never had so much fun reading (or listening to) quest dialogue before. In fact, the other day I laughed out loud and was extremely aggravated at the same time when a certain npc (the "Astrologer" in Tarantia Noble District) called me an "ape-creature" and taunted me with bananas.

There are single and group dungeons and both types are extremely well done. The atmosphere in each of them is unbelievably immersive. The boss encounters are challenging, different, and great fun. There are hidden traps, engaging story lines, and enough bloody scenes to go around.

AoC has great potential and I wish it would have been more successful.

i made an trial account and a couple of hours later i paid a subscribtion of 1 month, but it says its still a trial account and i'm wondering if i just baught 1 month of trial. that would suck so yeah please reply if u know something :)

@Brist94 Sorry, this is something that I haven't heard of before. It is most likely just not updating immediately. It should get updated within a few hours. There is no such thing as a month of trial though, so you should be fine. If it doesn't change then you should contact Funcom.

To be honest, aoc has the most fantastic looking places and dungeons ive ever seen in a game, and got damn ive played ehm all!

Yeah I agree, of what I had seen I would say that the atmosphere in the dungeons was nothing like I've ever experienced in another game. Totally immersive!

and now the awnser for your explenation about a realy GREAT game that had a pretty bad start...

Look one year back and compare it with how it runs , plays , looks and feels now.. its just stunning...

with the new expansion comming out with SO many good idea's ...

and i dont know an mmo more action packed then aoc... the combat system atracts me away from the rest
