I just can't believe the teachers would allow a soldier to visit their school to say such racist,ignorant things to impressionable young kids.That the Vietnamese were backwards people who make a mess of everything.That if it wasn't for the people, Vietnam would be a very pretty country and that he was proud that the US had won the war.Those comments were just plain wrong.The Vietnamese are a civilized race with an ancient culture.The US left after they finally realized it was an un-winnable war.
