Who exactly asked you what you wanted? Did the Lord ask you? Isn't He the One who determines who He wants in ministry? Aren't you rather presumptuous for asking the question?

All these supposed "Christians" think God called them to backbite Todd Bentley. How completely ludicrous. Todd isn't the one making these posts and he doesn't read them. That means all the critics are backbiting and the Scriptures are clear about backbiting and judging yet these guys PRETEND they're "doing their job," yet there's far less Scriptural support for backbiting than there is for examining oneself.

What a bad testimony to the pagans.

@TheAlan39 Regardless of HOW MUCH there is, there's more truth in your remarks than the Pharisees will EVER admit.

What's really surprising to me is how many supposed "Christians" seem to have absolutely no grasp of the need for circumspection and keeping their mouth and heart from condemning their brethren when they see them sin. It boggles my mind.

Maybe I'm mistaken? Maybe their hypocritical condemnation is God's way of flagging them-- "These guys aren't mine."

I don't wanna think that.

@BludBaut It's only by the grace of God I haven't fallen in to sin more times than I have.

Also, the overwhelming majority of people attacking Todd would have attacked him anyway. They're puporting to be grieved that he fell into sin and for his poor wife Shonna. But many of them (I won't say all) I suspect, were delighted to hear that he fell as it gave them something else they could throw at Todd and the movement he's a part of. I could be wrong but that's how I see it.

@BIudBaut I see what you are saying about the backbiting. I'm absolutely appalled at the frenzied attack on Todd Bently and wonder when it will all begin to subside.

He did the wrong thing for sure and it was selfish of him given how many people had invested time, money and emotional energy into the revival. But if we're honest with ourselves most of us could have done something similar if temptation had come our way when our resolve to do what is right was weak as it can be at times.

When Todd is dipping his wife and his girl friend all at on me time. Todd need to take vacatrion and figure out who he wants of the two and get his home life back in order !

He needs to repent but he needs to figure out what he is going to repent for ! Jesus said know what your repenting for ! Another thing is what does Todd have to say about this for I have heard everybody else but Todd on where he stands on this. Let us hear what Todd has to say !
