sometimes its good to go to a hair salon cause you have splits and giving your hair a little trim isn't good enough cause your splits will get bigger and soon your would probably have to cut like 8inchs of hair off just a friendly advice. :D

@chocolatelover205 that's only if you use your everyday scissors... dull scissors causes split ends. Salons have sharp professional shears and if you use the right tool and a method that works well- then it will work... Like stated in my video.

@anneorshine You shouldn't straighten your hair so much thats another thing that causes it to become split and dry. I blow dry my hair and style it or if you do want to straighten your hair then do it from the top down avoiding the tips of your hair. =]

$12 for a haircut? Pft, no wonder you're not satisfied. I'm caucasian and I've never been satisfied with the styles I get at caucasian salons. I go to an Asian salon, pay $35+ per haircut, and get a marvelous style every time. Basically, you need to find a salon that would be able to do the style you like.. and don't be stingy.
