BTW, these r CF's compositions as well. Moreover, "Mayforth" (3:23) was composed 4 his firstborn, Lee (born on 5/4; get it?). In fact, each of his 3 kids would get tribute tunes; 4 middle child Brent, it was "Sleep Sweet Child" (see my upload, w/ pics of both Brent & Lee, the latter in the final shot w/ Clare). And 4 the baby, simply "Tahlia" (when u've done so well naming a child, why get fancy?) Sadly, audio 4 the latter's owned by WMG, who blocks all its stuff on YT
It's great to listen to superb Hi-Los arranged by someone other than Gene Puerling. Both arrangers are, notwithstanding, great. The West-Coast- sounding tentette is GREAT!. No doubt, great, great music.
Having grown up on 30s, 40s, and 50s music, the group Hi-Los was and is my favorite vocal group for all time. Clare Fischer is theeee greatest. His jazz arrangements and performances are truly unsurpassable and so enjoyable to play and listen to. I am privileged to own two volumes and Clare's music and I play his arrangement organ of "America." To me no one comes close to the smooth and tight sound of the H-Los made possible by Clare's arrangements. Thank you Hi-Los and Clare Fischer.
4:03-4:16 is awesomely arranged and sung ;) RIP Mr Fischer...
