ACROPOLIS: The opening of the new museum

The new museum of the Acropolis has opened and is ready for the return of the stolen marbles.
The stolen artefacts were removed from the Parthenon in 1801 by Thomas Bruce, 7th Earl of Elgin, have suffered from 19th century pollution and they have been irrevocably damaged by cleaning methods employed by British Museum staff.
Safekeeping of the Marbles would be ensured at the New Acropolis Museum, situated to the south of the Acropolis hill. It was built to hold the Parthenon sculptures arranged in the same way as they would have been on the Parthenon.
The museum's facilities have been equipped with state-of-the-art technology for the protection and preservation of exhibits.

There are no more stupid excuses left. The marbles belong to the Parthenon. There's no denying it,no two ways around it. They are stolen property, and the british museum must return them to the their rightful home.
