Hello America - Cab Drivers in America

This week's Hello America features a question asked by a cab driver about the average income of an American cab driver and the kind of living that can be afforded with this money. Afzal, the cab driver also wants to know about what happens when an American cab driver violates a traffic rule? In order to convey a clearer idea about the average income of cab drivers in the US answers from four different cab drivers were obtained. Interestingly one of these drivers i.e Christina Nawaz is a female taxi driver, a rare phenomenon in Pakistan. The average income mentioned by all of these four drivers was 80-150 dollars on a normal week day while over two hundred on weekends. All of them stated that it was enough for a low income or for a lower middle class living. Another fact that was highlighted in these answers is whether he/she is a stand alone business or affiliated with a cab company, the cab driver him/her self is responsible for paying any penalties in case of a traffic violation.
