Afghans for Peace

Afghans for Peace (AFP) is an alliance of Afghans from various ethnic, religious, socio-economic, cultural, and political backgrounds with a united vision for a democratic, all inclusive, just and peaceful Afghanistan. In order to actualize this vision, we demand an end to U.S. and NATO military operations within Afghanistan. AFP consists of students, professionals, community leaders, and socio-politically aware activists.

I hope there will be peace in Afghanistan too but i feel that this is quite a selfish video or am i just misinterpreting this. If USA leaves Afghanistan, the Taliban will have more power in Afghanistan won't they?

@Techno4Peace - you bring up an important point. We think it's important to put pressure on the US government to STOP giving BILLIONS in MILITARY AID to the ISI. The US full well knows that the ISI funds terrorism in Afghanistan, yet for decades they have been pouring money into the Pakistani military and ISI (which also oppresses the people of Pakistan).

as an afghan I would like to say that thank you USA for saving as from barbarian Talibans, in the entire history of afghanistan we never had such progress, which we faced after 2001, the problem of all of it is Pakistan and Iran , just erase them from map

Americans need to understand that Afghans had nothing to do with 9/11. Look into the fact that the Taliban offered to put bin Laden on trial but they were ignored. Most Afghans didn't even know what 9/11 was. I cannot write everything here, but look into who the Taliban are, Afghanistan's mineral wealth, the ISI, the TAPI pipeline, Afghanistan's history of resisting occupation yet welcoming friendly visitors. These topics will help you understand this country better & the innocent people.

The Taliban harbored al Qaeda, al Qaeda killed over 3000 Americans on Sept 11th, 2001. Many jumped out of a flaming building to escape their conditions too. If you don't want war, don't harbor terrorists. As you do, we Americans hope the war will end soon and maybe there will be peace in your country. We want our boys home too. God bless.
