Actual JTHZ tape-cuts from 1985, featuring some Sandra-tracks.. Filmed with old Hi8 camera in 2007 under low lighting conditions. Color-inverted ;-)

  • What is the name of the mix because I didn't found it to download from your collection.

  • Isn't available as separate audio-file (yet).

For now, try to rip the audio from the big video-version of it (which is on the ftp server mentioned in the description).

  • I wonder which speed this tape is at?

  • 7.5 inch/sec (i.e. 19.1 cm/second)

  • sandra cretu???

  • The one and only, yes.

  • That has to be the finest example of tape editing I have ever seen. I can't imagine how you planed and executed it. You must be a pro.

  • Definitely. Sound quality is excellent.

  • The creamy, warm sound of reel to reel. I wish I had one of these to master all my Cubase stuff to...

  • I like it...

  • Proooooopppssss!!! Fuck pioneer! :)

  • Very cool man !!!

Too bad that today "mp3 generation" never knew that warm analogue sound, the art of analog editing, the felling of looking to the open reel playing, and much more eheh

Sandra is one of mya favourite artists from the 80s... please can you tell me what's the title of the 1st track ?

  • This is awesome! I went to IAR and learned how to do this.. I was pretty good in class, but not having a reel to reel professional deck in my possession I haven't tried it since, watching the tape splices go by I can see exactly what you did, and this was fairly flawless! You can mimic a machine very well! It's a long painstaking process, I know!!

  • you can give me the name of the songs?

    thanks

    cheers

  • Thanks
