  • @pmw3pmw4 atan stands for arc tangent which is another common way of saying inverse tangent

  • @pmw3pmw4. Hi there. It's quite simple you just need to add the letter "a" in front of your tan function. i.e y= atan(x), this returns the inverse tangent (arctangent) for each element of x. Hope that helps.

    The range can be set by pressing the last icon of the 2nd row of the "Matrix" toolbar
