OUTDATED AS OF AUGUST 2011- Basic idea still applies though, you just have to click on the sign and select a person from there to get started. Then you train them as you're doing the trekking.
The mini-game itself is called Burgh De Rott Ramble/ Temple Trekking. If you want to read about it on the Knowledge base, just look that up.
You need to have completed the quest In Aid of the Myreque to play this mini-game.
NEW EVENT: I made this video before the Vyrewatch creatures were added to the game so that's why the guide doesn't show them. For that event, all you have to do is evade them like you would if it were any other event.
If you do get the urge to go and kill one, and Ivandis Flail is required to do so.
NOTE: Vyrewatches will ONLY appear if you've completed the Legacy of Seergaze quest.
2.5% bonus per log cut when wearing FULL Lumberjack. Apparently each piece will give you a small boost when worn seperately, but I'm not sure by how much.
It doesn't work in F2P worlds.
The follower that you choose will be able to defend themselves differently depeding on the color of their clothes/cape.
Blue = Easy
Yellow = Medium
Red = Hard.
Because you won't actually be fighting the NPCs, it doesn't really matter which one you pick. But if your person dies, you'll be left in the middle of the swamp.. so if you think you're having major lag issues or something of the sort, it'd probably be better to take one of the guys in Blue. Also, the people in red apparently give slightly better rewards, I've never noticed a difference in them though.
Only use a Home Teleport instead of an Ectophial if you have a Kharyrll teleport-portal in your house.
Making a Kharyll teleport in your house requires 50 Construction and the completion of the quest, Desert Treasure.
Wearing full Lumberjack in F2P will not give you any bonus.
This is a Guide on getting full Lumberjack as quickly as possible, not on how to do Temple Trekking for the other rewards.
+ This is my first guide. So no nasty comments. -.-
