Been Real Busy with Harvest, time for a mid week update, & Safety Warning regarding MOT's & Electricity in general!,
Important Info Below!!
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Electric_shock

This video is for Educational and Entertainment Purposes ONLY!
As always, when I do these experiments, It is Obvious to me that I am Experimenting with mains voltage that has more than enough potential to KILL, should I feel the need to approach the "Danger Zone", I ALWAYS switch off & DISCONNECT, ensuring that there is a Physical BREAK from the supply that I am using, in which it is impossible for Mains Current travel.
NEVER rely on just the switch itself or even the "safety" switch on the switchboard, they can FAIL, NEVER TAKE RISKS, ALWAYS Remove the plug from the socket and see that the setup is Completely ISOLATED from the supply.....Then it's Safe to proceed.

  • I would love to see a tour of the farm.

  • @acme663ryo Search my channel for "Block tour in van", you'll find it there :)

  • @HDXFH What's done with your grapes? If it's wine can you tell me the brand etc, I'll see if I can find some here in the UK.

@filipkof The boots with the thick rubber soles provide the necessary insulation, if you are not grounded yourself you can hold the positive electrode without a stick attached. Kind of like when you see birds sitting on power lines, no path to ground = no current flow.

  • @locouk This variety is Called Menindee Seedless, This is being sent to Markets in Sydney & Melbourne

  • I grew up as a kid with free run of a massive Washington State apple orchard, well after harvest anyway. There were always apples left, so many kinds and they all seemed so large. Father and grandfathers would walk the rows hunting pheasants and we kids would eat ourselves sick. Some of my earliest and best memories. I hope to find an orchard and take my kid there to camp the way we used to.

  • @locouk LOL, The Grey thing on the end of my "Chicken Stick" is made of PVC, there's enough insulation potential right there!, & yes, I'm also aware of nearby objects also posing a risk that lead to Ground!!!

  • @douro20 I really don't know, It was made in the early 60's!

  • You'll have to get V8Jagnut to come and clean your coils :)

  • Those grapes look yummy.

  • @locouk +1 for the gloves! :p

  • nice "bug zapper" too @7:45
