I was here on holiday last june (2011) and this was the most surprising city to visit.

Absolutely loved it!

Guangzhou is great. And it is too big. 3 times the size of NY. High speed rail is one of the fastest. White Cloud mountain is another great experience. Lots of neon to be seen while you stroll around Pearl river (both banks). Food is awesome. People are very friendly. Crime is very less and you feel very secured. I wish I could learn little Chinese before I went there would be more enjoyable.

I am moving to Canton within one month to help companies from Spain to trade with Chinese firms and dealers. Any advice before getting there? Thanks and looking forward to being there. China seems amaizing

@billcollins531 Religious freedom being the biggie, but also a bunch of other things that come with a communist government. It's a fantastic place to visit however, I think you should go!

@jarteaga87 You should! It's such an awesome country to visit, I honestly wouldn't mind living there, one of the only things holding me back is the Chinese government.
