@MisterAwesan Quantum mechanic behaviour is only apparent in the microscopic scale. When atoms combine together, their combined wave function is much more centralized and makes it act more and more like a particle.
Afaik the biggest object we've observed quantum mechanic wave behaviour of, is the helium nucleus.

But if we're made of particles that act like waves, why don't we as a whole act like waves?

If you're still interested in wave particle duality, look up the double slit experiment. Really interesting stuff.
