this was a pretty surprisingly scene, mostly because gets taken down so explosively
it certainly works
at 0:40 he looks like a total lying scumbag in denial, a far cry from the suave, sophisticated intelligent alpha male he'd been built upto at that point in the series
its said that writer matthew weiner really loves toying with the audience's expectations, and he's certainly done it here
