@bmw101219 you forgot the other trials of police officers, beating down people because they had a bad day, arresting people for little to no reason to make their quota, and let's not forget the fact that there are a separate set of laws that only apply to a law enforcement officer. Murdering a person is bad, but it's worse to murder a police officer and therefore such a crime receives a higher punishment, that sounds like equality to me.
