Sounds good but not one of the better pieces this group has done. Sounds underrehearsed. The crescendos and decrescendos are not smooth. Solo is pretty good though.

I thought this was an alto solo. The baritone is OK but I still like it better with the alto.

Actually the soloist is a Tenor with a rich voice. He was one of my best singers both vocally and his attitude. He earned this solo and I was glad that after four years he had this opportunity to star. But though it is an Alto solo I think it sounds deeper and more melancholy sung by a man.
