During this lesson Boris proposes the concept of Deep Tissue Massage, including 4 strategies for Deep Tissue Mobilization. He explains how to utilize Deep Tissue Massage protocols on the back, buttocks, shoulders etc.
This lesson is about safety, prevention of clients' injuries due to vigorous pressure. It's also about preventing therapists hands/wrists from job related injuries including developments of tendinitis, carpal tunnel syndrome, disc herniation. Not less importantly this lessons help to provide very beneficial to the health deep tissue massage.

  • Hi Boris , Im Siddharth from India , could you please recommend some Anxiety relief techniques for me ? i practice a deep relaxation technique whereby i tense m muscles and release for relaxation , the technique given to me by my counsellor . im giving some really stressfull exams now :) , i love your techniques on medical massage , you know the correct pressure points to be pressed .

  • @sidstarr It is important not only to follow me as I perform self-massage protocols, but also to listen to my explanations in order to understand the connection between stress and anxiety and the importance of stress management. I hope these lessons would be helpful.
