Goodness, this reminds me just how amazingly sad johns history was...I hate how he died in S5, it trully tore me apart seeing his life break down 2 a point were suicide was the best option. i woulda have loved to see him make something of himself. And the final insult to his memory was when the man in black (i presume) possesed his body and contributed to the death of jacob=(=(

John was a sucker right from the beginning. He was never special. The Island had no plan for him. He was used by anti-Jacob, probably from the time he saw the smoke monster in whatever season it was.
