Excellence in futuristic, yet expressive metal is one way to describe this emotive collection of songs - the 5th release from this veteran progressive act. The vocals are now competently handled by their long time bassist Henrik Fevre, who floats effortlessly back and forth between metal urgency and an almost "pop"- like lushness that is rarely exhibited in this genre. The song selection is diverse to be sure, a nice diversion from the litany of bands that just keep hammering the listener with heavy chops. And while technically impressive, melody is the key here - these songs really enjoyable on every level, the hooks just keep digging in with each listen. In fact, most of the pleasure here comes on repeated play, each spin better than the last. These guys actually have a very original style/sound going here, which at times hints at Conception (especially "World In A Dome") which is major plus. In the end, this may just be one of the best progressive releases this year, and maybe the band's best ever.

Great Metal is created by having great music within it, that is the difference between crap metal and real metal. While this song clearly isn't metal, it is a great rock song by a great metal band, and if you doubt their being metal, I dare you to buy the album and find out!

Ha. That's because good metal bands are usually made of people who consider themselves as musicians above all. Good musicians write what they feel like writing, and don't get stuck in one genre but can move around when they feel like it. Plus if you listen to something like Bloodoath by them or something, it's they are pretty clearly a metal band. But I'd imagine any good metal band is going to define them as a musician first and a metalhead second... so fuck what metalheads think?

Thanks! We had to make a 4 minute edit for the video/single, thus the solo was recorded later, especially for the single version by Kim Olesen - to make a more interesting ending to the single versio. There was no time for the original ending. This way the edit version became unique, not just an edit. HF

Hi. Would have been too long for the radio, so it was probably better also to keep the video within the 4 minutes. Unfortunately some lyrics are missing from this version, but the essential is there..
