Jeff McWaters Independence Day Memorial Ride departed Walmart in Madisonville TN at 2pm on the 4th of July, ride to New Providence Missionary Baptist Church in Tellico Plains TN. RIP Fatal Gold Wing crash after tire blowout on the Tellico Dragon, April 5, 2010, TN165 Tellico River Road, Tellico Plains, Tennessee, off Cherohala Skyway bypass of the Dragon at Deals Gap. That was when US129 Deals Gap Dragon was closed. Jeff's Harley led the funeral procession.

Always wise to take a basic math course before biking. 600 lbs. on 2 small contact patches of tire = spiritland.

People are allways first to blame the riders...."THEY WERE GOING FAST, or THEY WERE LEANING TO FAR DOWN"......People need to LOOK at WHAT HAPPONED!!!! 99% of the time....IT WAS THE OTHER VEHICLES FAULT!!!!!!

Thank you for sharing your story. I have a dear friend that was in an acident, and went from the mental age of 42, to 5. He can't remember his children, he dosent remmber that he is divorced, (he walked in on his X). But I was there EVERY DAY! I'm married....but I washed that man, I changed him, (before he could go again on his own)...I held his hand when they did a swallow test, because he was SCARED TO DEATH they were going to give him a trake. ALL BECAUSE SOMEONE DID NOT SEE HIM!!!!!!!!!!!
