Parkzone T-28 Trojan with flaps and Navigation lihts.
3 x 3mm LED -s on the wings and one white 3mm LED on the top of the tail fin.
2 x 3mm flashing LED -s on the fuselage.
It took less than 3 hours to fit 9 x 3mm LED -s.
I'm planning to install landing lights as well - it's will be switch on/off remotly
from the transmitter.
The aircraft has flaps as well...
Just waiting for a good sunny afternoon to try the full FPV system
All of the DIY upgrades are worth of hassel - I think...
By end of the "hard work" period you will have a really capable relativley cheap
FPV aircraft...

After the test flight I will post more videos...

  • Hi,

    The best thing to do is: to get 5V or 6V LED-s and to use Futaba connector to connect in to your receiver.LED-s are polarity sensitive!

    Just go for some forums to get the right answer about the remote switching mode!

    All the best!

    Regards;

    Richard.

  • @richardbenko1 Thanks for the info here my friend. I will look at some forums about the switching modes. Thanks again.

  • I've just built my own set of nav lights, but i can't work out how to connect them to a receiver? They work fine by connecting a 6 or 9 volt battery, but how do i get them to work remotely from my transmitter and receiver?
