  • i just bought the tpx for my o9 vfr works and looks slick tested out on some speed checks and works from a great distance i have the visual alert nice option but on my bike there is no where to mount it so i can see it with out having take my eyes off the road . i want to order this headset does it have a volume control ? is it loud? just wondering if it would loud enough to hear over my music earphones .

  • @MrDannyWilkinson It should be loud enough to hear over your music earphones. Alternatively, you can also get a "reverse Y" splitter and connect the TPX through the red plug on the wiring harness to the earphone so that you can hear your music and the TPX through the same set of speakers.

  • is there a way to connect it to a chatter box GMRSX1??

  • @ugaldemazatle Yes, you can. You'll just need to get a Bluetooth adapter for the TPX. You can get an adapter from Chatterbox.

  • This is a radar detector?! Or is it a speaker to hear the radar detector? More information please.

  • It's a wireless headset that works with the TPX radar detector.

  • @AdaptivTech thanks a lot!!!!

  • @AdaptivTech: Thank you, sir.

  • We've tested the velcro attachment and it is secure. We have also tested at high speeds and the headset stays put. To date, we haven't had a single customer having issues with the velcro not being strong enough.

  • I would worry with it being velcro based that by putting it on the leftside of the helmet at high speeds itll eventually be blown off by road wind.
