  • Beautifull tone : warm , bright , deep ,powerfull as well as smooth .

Excellent timing , the music breaths , excellent counterpoint /texture/voice seperation ,very natural playing wich sounds effortless and never is superficial .

Furthermore the structure is very clear and yet is doesnot sound intellectual or predictable.I think , no I'm sure that mr Vieaux loves Bach as I do .

  • Great performance. It also helps to have a Wagner double top guitar..$20,000 US or more.

  • @billy13i furthermore you contradict yourself. if it doesn't sound intellectual then it would sound predictable because it takes cognitive thought to do something different; if it didn't then we would have people inventing something new on every street corner. To be predictable is to not use your mind to be clever or come up with new ways of doing things. Music is a very intellectual activity AS well as a very emotional activity. Music is where both the mind and the heart interact.

  • @billy13i the guitar. what do you think he's thinking about? doing his laundry? NO he's thinking about how to play each note; what it is; where to find it on the guitar. How to phrase phrases, dynamics, and he probably has to deal with the stress of playing in front of others; yes even the greats get nervous. Takes years to master the guitar like Jason has and i find it offensive as a guitarist myself that you would say playing isn't intellectual as i engage my mind a lot while playing.

  • @Deerse you and everyone who liked that is a moron. 1. Bach and all of his compositions are VERY intellectual; some of the most intellectual music in the world. seriously go analyze any of his music and you'll see this is no "thoughtless" like so much music is this day and age. Bach either A. never repeats the same thing in a piece of music (minus repeat signs) or he repeats very little.

    2. if you were referring to Jason and then you all are still morons as it takes a lot of intellect to play

  • Looks more like he should be playing "California girls" at a beach somewhere.

    Just kidding, great guitarist!!

  • This is the very best performance of these movements that I have ever heard.

  • Best music of Johann Sebastion Bach, and I've heard A LOT of it.

  • Does anyone know where I can get the sheet music for this.

  • @Deerse

    i agree with you!

  • he also adds his own elements and he has a very human sound as well, hes great

  • i seen this guy play live, his sound is flawless live. i wish he could teach me, hes got that commercial sound to the guitar, which i love, and i hope he will make millions of dollars with it
