World of Warcraft: The Animated Series intro (fake)

An idea for an animated series based on the MMORPG World of Warcraft.

The series I would love to see done in a more traditional western animation style. The closest equivalents I could find were the abandoned Warcraft adventure game Lord of the Clans and the 2002 reboot of He-Man and the Masters of the Universe, but I think they're styles are pretty close to the original designs by Chris Metzen and Samwise from the Warcraft series.

I think this could work given passion and care. Plenty of Warcraft fans already watch web series and machinima so an official animated show if done well I think would be well received. WOW Animated I'd love to see as a combination of straight up fantasy action and epic adventure, alongside genuine mature humor. Marvel's direct to DVD movies are good examples of this: hardcore fighting sequences and stories told straight faced, but with biting humor and wit. People already follow and revere live action fantasy shows such as Heroes and Battlestar, so what if an animated show was made with the same specifications? The same deep characters? The moral decisions, branching and intersecting plot paths, romantic tension, and suspense?

If done with care this show might be the bridge that once and for all silences that annoying mantra that animation is exclusively for children, or that 'mature' animation has to be tasteless and random.

Kids TV? wtf are you talking about? WoW may look a lil cartoony, but that doesnt mean they need to make a yellow gnome that fries burgers for a living and lives in a pineapple.

I'm kinda surprised that they haven't made a series of it. They made a comic, why not a show? Also the He-Man clips fit surprisingly well.
