Q1: what is the language of neurons? What is their vocabulary? How do they communicate? What do they say to each other? Q2: does HBP have a strategy how to work towards solving Q1?
I think that the HBP discussion should be very detailed and everyone who is interested in brain research should participate and in as great detail as possible explain how the HBP can and cannot work today?
Instead of pooling the research papers, pool the scientists into a structured and open discussion!

Markram has a bit of a history of OTT claims that don't come to pass eg : "Once the team is able to model a complete rat brain — that should happen in the next two years — Markram will download the simulation into a robotic rat, so that the brain has a body"
2007 article. I see no sign of roborat and 2019 human brain is unlikely. One day but not 2019

how come nobody sees that this is one of the most important videos in the history of human kind??? only 1000 hits after 20days??? This brilliant man -- the head of IBM's Blue Brain project -- the man is saying that the human brain will be completely simulated by 2019. 2019! Don't people understand what that means?! We are rapidly approaching the famed Singularity. Once a soft, intelligent brain has access to its own design *this is it*. This is a new era. I sound like a raving lunatic. oh well.
