6. I can't say that she rivals great composers with her own creations. She is a beginner afterall. But she is making almost anything sound exceptional.

And (again subjective opinion) some are asking themselves this simple question:

"If I loved NW with Tarja, then without her I do not.

If anybody covering her songs (not only shitty Anette but also opera divas) sound so bad.

If anything she sings sounds so good.

What was 'real NW' anyway?"

4. Something that should really ring a bell is that her classical shows are being requested more each year. Currently she has a huge demand from a public where most people never even heard of metal or Nightwish.

5. She co-founded Nightwish and NW real greatness was achieved with her (I say that BY her but is subjective).

So whatever fame she gained because she was in NW, she totally deserves it.

1. I never said I was against "lol". But "laughing out loud" BEFORE ever starting a sentence shows you are stupid, childish or deranged.

2. Second, you keep spilling stupidities.

I stated in the last reply that she sold platinum all over the Globe and all her shows are sold out months before.

3. Another indicative is that her fanbase has GROWN and DIVERSIFIED after 2006 (a lot btw) - this means that her own work is being truly appreciated.

@irenikus777 1st "lol" is normal and acceptable internet slang, and anyone on youtube of all places insulting people for using it are complete idiots spamming their "intelligence" 2nd the ONLY reason Tarja's solo work is semi-successful is due to the material she performed on while in NW. 3rd as i stated earlier she is famous because of her work with NW where she did NO work what so ever, her "original" music sucks and is not widely popular, except with fanboys like you.

Great performance, abysmal recording.

It's good that for WIHAA we have quality recordings, but for songs like Beauty of the Beast or Devil and the Deep Dark Ocean we do not. What a shame :/

1 - someone starting their sentences with "LOL" is either a preteen or a sociopath.

2 - Tarja's solo work is so good and appreciated, that she received gold and platinum in all European countries and South America and her shows are sold our half year before the gig.

3 - regarding "original creativity": she composed some songs on MWS, all the songs on WLB. She also composed classical songs, movie songs, trance and chillout songs.

Basically you are wrong as hell.

The songs they produce are weak, their vocalist is nothing compared with Tarja and the band's performance drops year by year.

I am afraind you are wrong and inexperienced. She is totally in rhythm and sings without flaw. The footage is weird because the vocals where recorded separately from the mike and merged with the instruments from the speakers. The result is a clearer feed but unharmonized melody.

@cuttlefisch well, i like your point here, she is indeed awesome and nightwish realy fired a great singer :( but nightwish and tarja combined where so awesome!!!
