That's TERRIBLE advice. There are so many blind corners that you will KILL somebody if you don't stay in your lane. Bikers fly around corners all the time. Not crossing the double-yellow is the cardinal rule here.

No, I have an E46 M3 and am a TOD veteran (I've timed runs around 12 minutes). But nice try. The POINT is TOD is mainly blind corners, so you can't anticipate shit. There is a reason there are signs posted saying don't go over the double-yellow. So you are saying you should cross the yellow if you are confident? WTF are you smoking? You'll still kill someone, confident or not.

I have an E46 330i and the only performance item I have is the Signature Motoring performance CAI for about $160. The performance kit adds around 13.5HP on the dyno, sounds freaking great, and installs in under 30 minutes. Highly recommended.

-13.5 HP increase

-Lifetime filter

-SOUND AWESOME

-30 min. install time

Aside from the power gain, the SOUND is amazing at higher RPM but sounds normal in regular driving. I’m thinking about added high-flow exhaust next.

hey cbailey what did you do for sound recording on this run? Did you just use the video camera's built in mic or did you have a dedicated mic run somewhere? My buddy and I are taking my M3 there this May and he wants to run 2 video cameras and attach a mic to the rear bumper. Thanks a lot.

Taking one sentence is fine when it's the overwhelming point of your comment. My POINT is the TOD is composed almost entirely of BLIND corners, so you don't KNOW if there is oncoming traffic coming until it's too late. This is not Gran Turismo, you can't swerve over if someone is flying around a blind corner and you're in THEIR lane. That's a recipe to end up in a tree, or worse. You can't see into most corners, so there is no point in arguing "IF you can see." It's a moot point.
