In this video, I will be reviewing and demonstrating the UM-710 7 LCD Mimo Monitor. This monitor costs $129.99, and to me, is worth every penny. It was very hard to find a negative thing with this monitor. Watch the rest of the video to find out the final rating.

  • Can you run games on this (like emulators)? Or is that too CPU intensive for it to handle?

Call me crazy but, I've always felt like there is something odd about playing Gameboy games on a big screen. It'd be cool to get a mini screen like this and play them the way they're supposed to, if that makes any sense.

  • @machriderx this thing uses the CPU like crazy if you run video on it. It also doesn't support 3d acceleration.

  • Just curious - did they send you this product to review?

  • Yes it was, as said in the description. It was my first true review, so I think I over did it. But I was being honest.

  • i see your desk is lil bit dusty there from the looks on bottom of the mimo stand...yea need to clean it up....

    lol..just messin with yeah.

im thinkin bought gettin one of those..but not to sure about it

how do you make it to where your other tabs be shown on there from your main desktop?

do u just drag it over there just like the mac can do with dual monitors?

  • haha just dusted it today. I'm making a video on how to do that tomorrow. Pretty simple. Stay tuned for it. =]

  • i bought a monitor for 100 bananas. 26 inch. Lets roll baby! YOU AND ME! :P :P :D

  • Can this monitor be used as a mirror monitor? Meaning can it be used to show exactly what is on the other monitor in case you want to watch a movie? I have a carputer and was thinking about this for the back seat. I just want to make sure that it can show the movie on both screens at the same time before I bought it.

  • hey can the mimo hook up to pc desktops?

  • sometimes you don't need a bigger monitor, check out my situation, I have a dual 20in setup but always need be minimizing my music software to do other shit, im thinking of getting one of these strictly for that reason

  • put some more money on the top of that 129.99 and get a real monitor - 21" widescreen with extremely high resolution

you can run all the background tasks as you would on this, but better...

  • watse of money....

  • I love this thing. I'm using it with my cable and big tv as a kind of remote/web browser. I start videos put them on the big screen. People think its a system I paid thousands for! tricks on them! ;-)

  • hey there,

what about running flash on the monitor? would it display flash movies fluently?

  • damn, thought as much. Yeah, I guess it's just meant to run apps on the side like a heads up display. Thanks anyway.
