I worked with the BSens a few years back when we had Sgroi. Nice guy, would have given the shirt off his back to someone in need. Once he is on the ice, it's a totally different story. He never had the offensive skills to stay up in the show. In Boogaard's early years, Sgroi made him look silly. Boogaard took that ass whooping and it turned it into an NHL career. Too bad Sgroi couldn't do the same. Although he is a good guy, I'd say it is still ego that keeps him from working hard

I've met Sgroi. He's a very nice man. Most hockey enforcers put on a mean act on the ice, but are nice guys away from the arena.

mike sgroi is a bum! and i must admit i was one of the ones leading the mike sgrois sucks chants saturday and sunday and one of the thousands harrasing him, my one friend got Elmiras coach to call him a faggot. and i got Sgroi to tell me to fuc koff lol!!! and i cant wait until Elmira comes back to town March 8th so we can do it all again!
