Actually I didn't. Effectively it's late in the game.

First you beat the game and then when you're in cruise mode you get arrested with no cars left. It'll ask if you want to continue or start a new game. Continue your game and you'll start over, but everything that you unlocked will be unlocked, such as the Gallardo. It's the only way to unlock certain challenges if you have to go back on the same game.

I had to beat at least one boss and not spend anything to buy it. ;)

lol, I'm right there with you, but I actually stumbled on the color and realized how sick it looks. Original it was black. How blaise is that!
