@q8sauod Lol yes, if you want to overclock it try getting an msi motherboard with "OC Genie", it auto overclocks so your system stays stable and hopefully does not melt. As always with overclocking though make sure you have a good cpu fan i.e. not a stock intel and you should be fine

@q8sauod It depends on which quad and which i5 but in most cases you are better off with the i5. Benchmarks have shown that it gives much better performance and with an i5 you will get ddr3 ram, there are only a few motherboards that support the 775 socket (i.e. core 2 quad) that also support ddr3.
