no prob, first it was Canaan, Yaqub(as) was a Canaanite, not Jew, he was named by Allah(swt) Israel and his kids (12 boys 1 girl) were "children of Israel" and formed the 12 tribes of Israel. long time into the future a kingdom of Israel was set up on land taken from the Canaanites, the kingdom broke up into 2 kingdoms, Israel in north and Judea in south the people in Judea become know as Jews. Israel was a Hebrew kingdom not Jew, Jews coming form Judea. Hebrew and Arab are same ancestry.

there was a jewish kingdom thousands of years back..

but today's israeli government( and population)are mostly european converts and arrived in palestine prior to the year 1948, hence they have no right to the land..And they have no right to expel the palestinians whom have been there for hundreds of years, probably thousands..
