What a memory this brings back. My final year in college, there was a Gong Show, and I played this song on the accordion while my girl friend sang. We weren't gonged, but that was a minor miracle. sadly, she was far better in rehearsal than she was on stage, like so many amateurs. that was an amazing weekend, the only one we spent on my college campus while we dated.

You can't beat an old favorite like this one. This one was popular right after I got married and moved to California. I was a blue Kansas girl who wanted to be home with my family. LOL Thanks for a beautiful song and a few memories. That husband died when I was 21 and he was 22 so it is bitter sweet memories. This is one you did before I found you and I really did like it.
