yes, I am able to switch from dvi (my desktop) to vga(my lappy). There is a button allows you can change the input

I'm thinking about buying it too. How's the viewing angle? Does the picture look different when you view it from a different angle?

The viewing angle is ok. All TN panels are pretty much the same for me.
