This has to be the best meet up I have been to, so far! Thanks to all the guys for a great meet and some laughs!
1. Grand Central Livered 180112 speeds through with a loud 3 tone.
2. Royal livered 67005 departs north with an unknown charter, also the local veg gets in the way!
3. Hull Trains 180 passes northbound
4. Grand Central 180105 trundles south with a 2 tone
5. 66002 heads north
6. 43313, th only GNER livered powercar departs with a 4 tone.
7. A 225 set heads north with a 2 tone
8. A 225 set passes south with a huge 3 tone!
9. A 225 set heads north with a 2 tone
10. Hull Trains 180 blasts us heading north
11. Another HT 180 passes southbound
12. 66954 heads to my home patch with a feeble 3 tone
13. 66717 heads north with a much louder 3 tone!!
14. An HST set heads north with a toot from the driver
15. A 225 set passes north with a 3 tone and some commentary from James, also a flail from Stepehen
16. Another 225 set heads north with a toot and James gives us a lesson about drivers
17. 66727 passes north with a horn
18. 92030 roars northbound with empty steel
19. An HST set passes north with a tone and the rear powercar sounding superb!

  • I liked Intercity Swallow livery an also the old Regional Railways colours.

  • yh, the GNER is a good example and so is the old Anglia Railways

  • That should have read "MK3a", BTW. Yeah, I agree- simpler liveries look better, particularly at speed.

  • oh it sure does, it is simple and stylish unlike some of the things modern tocs come up with

  • Beats me, but I certainly enjoyed the Mksa coaches on the charter being in late '70s InterCity livery. I still think that livery looks better than a lot of the modern ones.
