@DeepEye1994 that burton quote you posted was from the killing joke hard cover edition recolored version, which is a proud part of my collection

@DeepEye1994 Dark Knight Returns is def one of my favorites.... a 55 year old batman beating supermans unaging ass.... whats not to love? hard to say what my FAVORITE ever is, though.... serious house on serious earth, lovers and madmen, knightfall..... tough call, man...too tough

@pctgraverobba I regret the "moron" and "Nolantard" too,I'm sorry. Really? You prefer Nicholson's Joker?YESSS!!!Ok, I'm really changing my mind in you!
Anyway, yes you're right in saying that Burton didn't read the comics before making the movie, but he NEVER said that he"hates"them, he wasn't a big reader of strips in general. Burtons loves"Batman: Killing Joke"and I agree,Killing Joke is my second favorite Batman's comic. My favorite is Frank Miller's "The Dark Knight Returns".
What's yours?

@DeepEye1994 nicholson WAS a better joker. stop trying to make my opinions for me. te fact is, you started your argument with this sentence- "Batman DOES kill people you moron"... fail. i shouldnt have even responded the 1st time.
-
@pctgraverobba And so why are you complaining that Joker killed Bruce's parents? That was a invention to make Batman and Joker's hostility more personal. But If nolan's Two-Face is "more accurate" even the changement of his origin, than Nicholson's Joker is more accurate than Ledger despite the fact he's Bruce's parent's killer instead of Joe Chill!
-
@pctgraverobba Nope. watch the movie again, he lives in the Arctic World at Gotham's zoo, wich is also connected with the sewers. Watch the movie again also because it's great.

@pctgraverobba Tim Burton:"I never really reded them, but I've always loved the image of Batman and The Joker. The reason I've never been a comic book fan-and I think it started when I was a child-is because I could never tell which box I was supposed to read.I don't know if it was dyslexia, but that's why I loved The Killing Joke, because for the first time I could tell which one to read. It's the first comic I've ever loved. And the success of those graphic novels made our ideas more acceptable"

@DeepEye1994 how am i losing? i make valid points, and you respond with a paragraph about the difference between a mutant and a disfigured person....
tim burton hates comic books, man.... hes never read one, and openly admits this in early interviews for this film, so how he would manage to be more accurate is far beyond me.
-
@DeepEye1994 were talking about tim burton films.... he never even used two face as a villain.
tommy lee jones acted more like the joker than two face anyway (in the SHUMACHER films, which were both horrible). harvey dents character is much more accurate in the dark knight, despite how they changed his origin. hell, if you can accept the penguin being a disgusting disfigured sewer dweller surely you can get over nolans two face origin. am i getting trolled, because this is really fucking stupid
-
@DeepEye1994 no shit chris o donnel was robin...wasnt a tim burton flick either. he was originally going to cast marlon wayans. and yes, penguin lived in the sewer. the zoo became his base late in the movie....
@Wiikeri
"I think Batman and Robin is a good movie..."
