William Shakespeare's History Plays - produced by the BBC. The 1960's series "An Age of Kings". BBC; all rights reserved. Originally broadcast for television in 1960. Here, "Henry V", King Henry (Robert Hardy) attempts to afford England the benefit of power over France, with the undercurrent of answering his hearts overwhelming desire to have Princess Katherine (Judi Dench) as his soverign queen and love.
Too bad modern movies can't come close to this kind of romance.

As Robert Hardy says himself this kiss was as real as it got and one of the only times he felt stirring " in his hose "whilst acting a love scene! He confirmed it on Desert Island Discs.Brilliant .

Wonderful to see it again after all this time. It's a scandal that the DVD box set has only been released in Region 1. Come on, BBC - let's have a Region 2 version asap!
