@TheEscalofrio Oh I know Slipknot's not a metalcore band and were nu metal for their first 2 (could possibly argue 3) albums. Whilst I don't believe mixing rap and metal is the greatest thing ever conceived- I think that bits and pieces of rap metal sounds decent but as with any genre there are some awful artists. Also, I wouldn't necessarilly agree with you that Municipal Waste and Evile sound alike. Municipal Waste to me sound like a heavier anthrax annd Evile simply Metallica.

@RattleheadMoney95 slipknot is not metalcore..but theyre nu metal so i dont like their attempts in mixing rap with metal since rap sucks...oh about evile and munipialwaste yeah they sound alike but not that good

@TheEscalofrio If I'm honest I wouldn't necessarily classify Slipknot as a fake metal band. I'd class metalcore like Avenged Sevenfold, Bullet For My Valentine, Asking Alexandria etc as fake metal. And no i haven't heard of enforcer but i'll check them out. I assume you've heard of Evile and Municipal Waste?

@RattleheadMoney95 the new wave of traditional heavy metal is another wave that again is focused on the european area...have u heard of Enforcer theyre a traditional sounding metal band and they are from finland...i bet this wave of metal is again influence bands who hate fake metal like slipknot..but thepromblem is not a lot of peoples know about it so.....

@TheEscalofrio Oh yeah I knew all about the New Wave Of British Heavy Metal that was Diamond Head, Iron Maiden and Budgie with a lot of others right? I'd heard of The New Wave Of American Heavy Metal but not NWOTHM. And yeah I do agree on Thrash bands sounding the same. However, I always found them to sound more like Slayer than any other band which for me isn't that great as I'm not really all that big on Slayer (some of their stuff is bloody brilliant).

@RattleheadMoney95 NWOTHM stands for New Wave Of Traditional Heavy Metal its really known in the really underground scene.its another movement like the NWOBHMnew wave of british heavy metal) well any ways the new thrash bands sound alike all of them use the rhythm guitar way to much low gruff vocal but they dont sound like james and solos. there is no unique band thats thrash ..they havent penned their own style cmon fellow thrashers you sound way too dull and strict.get wild
