@gntluvr true, but the leafs were the ones who really screwed themselves. they traded that pick to new jersey, which is why the devils got him and not the leafs. plus, falloon was supposed to be a much better forward than he turned out to be.

first big mistake the sharks made not drafting scott their first year in 1991 and taking pat fallon instead, scott would have been a solid cornerstone for 15 years, so dumb by the sharks monagement

scotty is a total class act. we miss him in anaheim. could really use him right about now. but i have a great feeling about cam fowler. hopefully he follows exactly in scottys footsteps

I miss you Scotty, what an amazing career, the only player in history to win ALL championships!
I miss Scotty's presence as the person he is off the ice, because both on and off the ice, a wonderfull person.

Damn what a career he's had! He's won the "holy grail" of titles with the Memorial Cup, World jrs Championship, World Cup, World Championship, Olympic Gold and of course Lord Stanley.
Fowler is still learning but you can clearly see the influence of Scott's offensive skills. It also doesn't hurt that Cam is living with Scotty too.

@alex2542 Look I'm not saying Fowler will be a bust, I'm just saying don't rush things, he's great and will be great, and it's true the way he skates is eerily similar to Scotty's but I wouldn't want to put that pressure on his shoulders, let the kid amaze us.....one goal at a time
