M.T.H. Electric Trains Premier Line O Scale steam engine is a faithful reproduction of the original royal train. In 1939 King George VI, accompanied by his wife Queen Elizabeth, became the first reigning British monarch to visit Canada. For 31 days Their Majesties toured their Canadian Dominion from coast to coast in a 12-car train described by the Canadian Pacific as "regal in appearance, luxurious in interior decorations and appointments," and "in every way a home and a castle."

  • @radostsguy - Morocco has a total area of 710,000 sq km. Canada has a total area - less the Great Lakes - of a tad under 10,000,000 sq km. You could, apart from the Atlas mountains, go most anywhere in a straight line in Morocco - no lakes, y'see. In Canada, going in a straight line is virtually impossible - the large [near Morocco-sized] lakes get in the way - so electrification is NOT an option.

  • Has Canada started to electrify her Rail System? If not, she's behind such Hi-Tech countries as Morocco!

  • will this fit lionel fastrack? lol it looks like it has a smiley face! C-:

  • Hooray for the Royal Hudson!!!

  • i got that one just the royal hudson royal hudson vesion. nice engine easy to run on my home layout with tmcc hard as hell on my model train show layout without tmcc

  • MTH's sound system can be turned off. On the bottom of the locomotive tender or diesel, there's a small dial for the volume of the sound. You can turn it so that the sound (and/or smoke) is completely off and silent.

  • Very Nice. The MTH engine for my money is the Railking Southern 2389 version of the Royal Hudson. I'd love buy more, but I'm not a big fan of sound, and sadly MTH no longer offers the engines with a no-sound option.

  • I am probably going to get the RailKing version.

  • 0-54 curves?

  • They wore 5-chimed whistles too. CP 5 chimes to be exact.
