Dear Lousie and 1952 Kid, Hopefully? with the development of the internet..we will have our own really fun kids tv channel.. where we can watch our own fun and imagitive kids tv shows..without anyone like our parents or a Peggy Charren forcing the channel off of the air.

@theballoonguy32 i just watched it , it does have the camera panning off to the distance on the sidewalk as people are looking back , and believe me Chuck is way back there on a bike comming to the studio entrance, to bad they cut the scene short, and the part as he gets closer is cut. Funny how we remember things .

@theballoonguy32 I beg your pudding, your correct about it was the channel 5 show, but the'' opening '' was chuck, off in the distance on a bike , people were getting out of the way,as he got closer to the studio.I know about the bike scene on the weekend closing ,thats not what im refurring to. I think theres a short clip of it on Chucks web page.

I think there was more footage at the begining of this , i remember Chuck riding a bike ,on the sidewalk in front of the studio, off in the distance ,gettting closer and closer to the studio front entrance.

Dear 1952 Kid,I agree with you 100%! Kids tv in NYC and on the networks was better in the old days.Because we had real human beings that entertained,informed and enlightened us.Something that we will sadly never see again.

@1952kid Exactly, I miss wholesome sweet entertainment. Sooo tired of crude tv, raunchiness and everything bleeped, or not even bleeped. We need our own channel!

@louiseb35 YEP, 200 Channels and nothing is on . In the 1960's we had 2 -13 and didnt complain . Nice to see Chuck McCann, in B/W , those were the good old days, i miss them . so i watch these alot.
