@mareda14 I agree with you that Farid is one of the greatest composers of Arabic music. One thing that I don't agree is that there is a "Moshkela" or problem because he is Shami and not Egyptian. I attended Farid's funeral in Egypt with more that a million Egyptian who came out to pay their respects. I understand why people claim talent to their country but it shouldn't be posed as a moshkela. May God bless Syria and Egypt and may Syrians succeed in their legitimate revolution. Regards.
