  • is it me or the video and audio sync is off ?

  • Cant be helped. Mridangam fingering is too fast for alot of recorders. You need the best quality recorder. Then there is the problem of converting through various formats to get into youtube

  • I don't know whether i'm the only one saying that at times i feel his playing is like a carbon copy of that of UKS & KRM ..sometimes the patterns of KRM especially in korvais are seen as much as UKS' style of free play. His playing is more forceful than UKS but maybe a little more open than KRM's distinctiveness of sound..

  • Interesting point.

  • @sonofthedestroyer of course it could be edited time lag to perfection and u reload how is it........anyhow wht a tani chapps chaps chapps !

  • Look at the chaapus he's applying...as far as i know (probably ignorantly),its only UKS n PMI whom i've seen applying such chaapus right at the middle of the karanai...probly much more UKS than PMI even :)

  • Was just curious because i'm a literally a worshiper of UKS' style.. maybe because i find too many similarities for me to just shrug off as coincidence.. :)

  • Actually, he is following the Thiruvarur school of playing which is a bit different from that of UKS or KRM. Kamalakar Rao is of this school.
