@bhainsad It's not plexiglass...it's polycarbonate (trademark name is Lexan). Plexiglass is brittle and not all that strong. Polycarb on the other hand can be bent into a U shape and will still not break. Totally safe to stand on...the floor of that elevator is probably rated to hold 10x what you could actually fit in that car.

Plexiglass. Also, it's the same type of glass used for armored trucks. Really heavy-duty, re-enforced.
