  • Because some other "leaders" usually use speechwriters and are afraid of uncomfortable questions. Medvedev is open for any questions, because he know that he is talking the truth and hide nothing. Unlike American presidents, for example. They like to teach Russia about "freedom of speech", but they don't have it in their countries..

  • I love it how candid this guy is. It's quite rare to have long interviews like this with the leader of a nation.

  • @rexirexi Russia knew what happened to the Middle East's single commodity export-based economies in that region. So Russia has wisely invested it's oil & natural gas revenues on human resources ,science-driven high technologies-based industries, engineering-based industries, economic infra-technostructures, & other key critical strategic industries. The basic industries are locally complete already, since they're strategic time is on our side for they're self-replicating & self-regenerating.

  • economic virus

  • @Nickalispicalis i think even putin isnt fluent in english

  • RUssia sucks

  • The Russian economy consists of Natural gas and oil, take these two commodities out of the equation, their economy will collapse. Can't help but wonder what Russians will do when alternative energy becomes a free commodity.

  • I love people, who makes conclusions about problems and matters, they dont know.

  • So what do you think will be with the russian economy in future?

  • He is very well educated on economic matters. I am impressed.

  • I thought Medvedev was fluent in English. Why the earpiece ?
