Traditional Irish song about a young man that takes a new bride. To give her the good things in life he takes to robbing the rich on the highway in the 18th century. Eventually he is caught and tried.

  • Wonderful ... !!

  • Very nice.

  • The instrument is tuned GG DD AA EE BB all in fifths.

  • very nice!

  • That was pretty damn fantastic. Your decision to play and sing with such gusto underscores one of the things I find fascinating about the song—the sense that the narrator, despite the crimes he recounts, might not be filled with regret. There's a sense of dark glee underlying the song, which I think you evoke nicely.

  • Awesome video. Nicely done, both Andrew and videographer - Kirk. How do you have that instrument tuned Andrew?
